Where

Rule-1:স্থান নির্দেশক assertive sentence-এ to be verb/to have verb/modal auxiliary থাকলে-

• i. প্রথমে Where বসবে।
• ii. প্রদত্ত sentence-এ ব্যবহৃত to be verb/to have verb/modal auxiliary বসবে।
• iii. প্রদত্ত sentence-এর subject বসবে।
• iv. প্রদত্ত sentence-এ verb থাকলে তা যে form-এ আছে সেই form-এ হবে ।
• v. প্রদত্ত sentence-এর বাকি অংশ বসবে এবং কেবল স্থান বাচক শব্দগুলাে বাদ যাবে (preposition সহ)।
• vi. Note of Interrogation (?) বসবে।

Structure: Where + to be verb/to have verb/modal auxiliary + subject + বাকি অংশ (স্থান বাচক শব্দগুলাে বাদ) +?
Examples

• 1. Man is living in society.
• WH-question: Where is man living?
• 2. The players have gone to the field.
• WH-question: Where have the players gone?

Rule-2: স্থান নির্দেশক assertive sentence-এ to be verb/to have verb/modal auxiliary না থাকলে-

• i. প্রথমে Where বসবে।
• ii. প্রদত্ত sentence-এ ব্যবহৃত verb টির জন্য person এবং tense অনুযায়ী do/does/did বসবে।
• iii. প্রদত্ত sentence-এর subject বসবে।
• iv. প্রদত্ত sentence-এর verb-এর present form হবে ।
• v. প্রদত্ত sentence-এর বাকি অংশ বসবে এবং কেবল স্থান বাচক শব্দগুলাে বাদ যাবে (preposition সহ)।
• vi. Note of Interrogation (?) বসবে ।

Structure: Where+ do/does/did+ subject+প্রদত্ত sentence-এর মূল verb-এর present form + উত্তর অংশ বাদে বাকি অংশ + ?
Examples:

• 1. She goes to college.
• WH-question: Where does she go?
• 2. We arrived in London last night.
• WH-question: Where did you arrive last night?

প্রদত্ত assertive sentence টি negative form-এ থাকলে-

• i. প্রথমে Where বসবে।
• i. প্রদত্ত sentence-এ ব্যবহৃত do/does/did বসবে।
• ii. প্রদত্ত sentence-এর subject বসবে।
• iv. প্রদত্ত sentence-এ ব্যবহৃত negative word (no, not etc.) থেকে বাকি অংশ বসবে।
• v. প্রদত্ত sentence-এর verb-এর present form হবে ।
• vi. স্থান বাচক শব্দগুলো বাদ যাবে।
• vi. Note of Interrogation (?) বসবে।

Examples:

• 1. He does not go to Khulna.
• WH-question: Where does he not go?
• 2. The chairman did not sit on the chair.
• WH-question: Where did the chairman not seat?

দ্রষ্টব্যঃ subject যদি noun হয় তাহলে negative word (no, not etc.) টি subject-এর আগেও বসতে পারে।
Exercise:

• 1. Sumon can meet her in the college campus.
• 2. The girl has slept on the bed.
• 3. The farmers are working in the field.
• 4. They will return from England next month.
• 5. My mother is cooking in the kitchen.
